Japan Itinerary

I leave for Japan in a month and I think I've finally got a plan for what I'm doing. It's still not a step-by-step, definitly-going-to-happen plan, but I don't really want to get that severe with it. There needs to be some room for discovery.

September 22, Sunday:

Fly out

September 23, Monday:

Arrive in Tokyo
Pick up pocket Wi-Fi
*Train to Asakusa
Check into hostel
Find supper (Family Mart?)
Wander to Senso-ji
Back to hostel; early bed

September 24, Tuesday:

*Train to Kamakura
Daibutsu
Temples
*Train to Yokohama
Cup Noodles Museum
Sankeien Garden
China Town
*Train back to Asakusa
Maybe wander to Skytree if not too late

September 25, Wednesday:

*Train to Akihabara
Mandrake
Maid cafe lunch
Super Potato
Gachapon
Don Quijote
*Train back to Asakusa

September 26, Thursday:

*Shinkansen to Kyoto
Check into guest house
Nishiki Market
Kinkakuji

September 27, Friday:

Fushimi Inari
Bamboo Forest
Gion District

September 28, Saturday:

*Shinkansen to Osaka
Check into hostel
Osaka Aquarium
Dotonburi

September 29, Sunday:

Osaka Castle
Wander

Septebmer 30, Monday:

*Shinkansen to Nara
Check into hostel
Deer!
Todai-ji Temple
Deer trinkets

October 1, Tuesday:

*Skinkansen to Onomichi
Check into hostel
Temple walk
Just chill

October 2, Wednesday:

Bike tour
More chill / explore

October 3, Thursday:

*Shinkansen to Hakone
More chill

October 4, Friday:

*Shinkansen back to Tokyo
*Train to hostel (somewhere new?)
*Train to Shinjuku
*Train back to hostel

October 5, Saturday:

*Train to Akiba
Bonus Round
*Train back to hostel
Maybe Skytree if haven't already

October 6, Sunday:

*Train to Shibuya
*Maybe Odaiba

October 7, Monday:

Sleep in
Something to eat (Fami Chicki?)
*Train to airport
Fly home

There's still some room to finess this. I need to figure out what to do with my luggage before check in times and I need to optimize time between things, etc., but it's closer to a plan now. :)
