Japan Packing List

For my upcoming trip to Japan, I'm trying to imagine what I would need to pack. Way back, I travelled to Europe (Netherlands, Greece, Turkey). That was in April, 2001. It was a different world back then. In 2015, I went to Chicago and New York. And all throughout the years, I've travelled around Canada: Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, PEI, Quebec, Alberta, etc., etc. But I haven't left the continent since 2001, so I feel pretty inexperienced in big travel.

For Japan, I'm travelling alone and doing it for cheap, so I'm trying to be as flexible as possible. I'm aiming to strike the balance between travelling light and bringing what I really feel I need to be comfortable and productive.
